Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Sixth Islamic Foreign Ministers’ Conference. Ambassador Lininding Pangandaman, General Mamarinta Lao, Commissioner Hashim Abubakar and Commissioner Simeon Datumanong met with the Islamic delegations. The Conference adopted Resolution No. 10, which invited the Philippine Government “to achieve agreement on all aspects of autonomy for the Muslims in the South of the Philippines, ensuring peace and security to them and guaranteeing all their legitimate rights, while at the same time preserving the territorial integrity of the Philippines, thus enabling the Government of the latter to exert all their efforts in the service of the people as a whole.”
