Issuance of Executive Order No. 355 which provided for the creation of the Land Settlement and Development Corporation and dissolving the National Land Settlement Administration, and the Rice and Corn Production Administration and the Machinery and Equipment Department of the National Development Company.
The LASEDECO opened Tacurong, Isulan, Bagumbayan, part of Buluan, Sultan sa Barongis and Ampatuan, all in Cotabato for resettlement.
