Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Philippine Government Pancl held meetings with the Moro National Liberation Front. Present at those meetings were Executive Secretary Alejandro Melchor, Admiral Romulo Espaldon, Ambassadors Lininding Pangandaman and Pacifico A. Castro, Chancellor Ruben Cuyugan, Dean Cesar Majul, Col. Jose Almonte and economist Gary Makasiar. The MNLF was represented by Chairman Nur Misuari and Hashim Salamat.
