Tripoli, Libya. Eighth Islamic Foreign Ministers* Conference. Ambassador Rodolfo Tupas met with the Islamic delegations. The Conference adopted Resolution No. 7/8 P, which declared the Philippine Government responsible for protecting the lives and property of Muslims in Southern Philippines.” The same resolution entrusted to the Quadripartite Committee the “task of carrying on its mission of mediation between the two parties in conformity with previous resolutions adopted by the Conference.”
