Benghazi, Libya. Meeting of Ambassador Yusup Abubakar with Islamic Delegations, 4th Islamic Foreign Ministers’ Conference. The Conference adopted Resolution No. 4, which expressed awareness “of the fact that the problem is full of complications the more so as it concerns the internal affairs of an independent sovereign state.” It appealed to the “Philippine Government to…ensure their safety and basic liberties guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and their country’s Constitution.”
